Day 92

Fish Fry Fun with Friends!

We went to David's annual Masonic fish fry today at Cypress Park. B had a super time playing with the boys...

Not a fan of the big fish (she ran far away from that thing!)...

But she loved the minnows (hated to break it to her that they were dead!)

Then we had to stop by the Cypress Zoo and say hello to our animal friends...

Day 91

Ahhhh, Francine Rivers!!! Since I am now confined to the heating pad for two periods throughout the day, reading has become a priority once again. If you like to read, you HAVE to get anything by Francine Rivers! Might I suggest Redeeming Love (one of my favorites!) or the Mark of the Lion trilogy (I just started book 2). SO GOOD!!!!!

Day 90

My mom has this set of books for every age and every year around B's birthday she gives me another one. Last year I read "Your Two-Year-Old: Terrible or Tender." The title of this one cracks me up because I'm really feeling that Bailey has turned into the latter lately!

Day 89

My grandparents came over today and Bailey patiently sat by the door all morning like a dog watching for them to arrive! There was a tad bit of wind out, so Bailey and my grandfather (G-Daddy) went out to fly her kite. Turns out that there wasn't enough wind and it was pretty chilly so we went inside quickly.

However, I really wanted some sort of a picture of B and G-Daddy kite flying together because I have very fond memories of doing the same thing with him when I was younger. He used to take me up to Huntington High School grounds on the weekends and we'd play tennis on the tennis court and fly kites. I looked everywhere for a picture of us, but couldn't find one. However, I have great memories of these fun times and am so thankful that Bailey can share some of those same memories with her great-grandfather.

Day 88

Terrible quality- I know. But this was a "blink and you'll miss it" shot of Bailey's new sleep mask that came with her new Fancy Nancy nightgown. Obviously my child will never wear this, so maybe I'll try and put it to good use!!!

Day 87

Pink or blue??? We'll find out on April 15!!! With some child-free time today, I went shopping for Baby Doyal's new room- can't wait to narrow down my choices in a few weeks!

Day 86

Ahhhh, the nectar of the gods for pregnant people- Abita Root Beer!!! Delish!!!
