Day 225

YUM! She's not letting any of that cereal go to waste!

Brooke is David's cousin and our current favorite person! She's on summer break from Physical Therapy Assistant school and has been able to help babysit Bailey during the week. Brooke is SO good with kids and a wonderful person all around. I'm so thankful for her! Here are Brooke and Bailey doing their gymnastics show for me!

Day 223

David's grandmother was very sweet to bring us some food today and Daddy and Bailey were excited to play the "Wishbone Game" with the wishbone from the chicken. Daddy was the winner, and I coerced him into wishing that this baby would hurry up and come soon. After he made his wish, Bailey said, "I wish... I'm thankful for Mommy and Daddy and Izzie. Amen." So she didn't get it, but that's okay!

Day 222

Embarassed to even be posting this picture, but it's all I got for today. We had a huge swarm of dragonflies outside this morning- I'm guessing about 20. So I stepped out for a minute to try and capture them. I've determined a few things: dragonflies fly really, really fast; dragonflies don't like to land...ever; I am WAY too pregnant to try to take pictures of anything that moves!

Day 221

So here's what I've determined: either all of the local birds have died of a heatstroke (which is totally probable) OR birds are just really picky these days about what they eat!

We had some sweet friends bring us Monjunis this past weekend and, as always, it came with a never-ending supply of bread. So Bailey and our sweet babysitter Brooke went outside this morning and fed the birds. Bailey cracked me up saying, "Birds, come here! Come get your bread birds!" And then when she didn't see them coming immediately, "Mama, where are the birds? You said the birds would come!"
