Day 154

Well, it seems that we've got us a real Dr. Doolittle around here! Bailey LOVES animals, and I suppose our house in the wilderness is quite conducive to that- we're always finding something around here!

Today, it was Froggylegs the baby frog. Bailey was swimming in her little pool and I caught Froggylegs (she came up with the name) for her to look at. To my surprise, Miss Priss wanted me to dump Froggylegs in the water with her and let him swim. And swim he did- he had some nice kicking action going on there! Occasionally he'd hop up on the ledge and try to hop out of the pool (can you blame him?), but Bailey was quick to scoop him up and throw him back in the water. Thank you Froggylegs for a morning of froggy fun!

Day 153

Went outside for all of about 10 seconds today and the heat sent me straight back in! Here's to a wonderful summer of being pregnant!!!

Luckily, I found this little guy and his lunch to snap. Love his blue belly!

Day 152

No partridges in this pear tree, but the squirrels LOVE it! However, everytime I tried to sneak outside to get a picture of them chowing down, they'd run off. On another note, I'm a little scared to try the pears when they get ready since this was a Cucci remnant- worried they may be laced with something!!! Maybe we'll make David try one first!

Day 151

I am obsessed with these adorable baby shoes that my friend Elise let me borrow. Can't wait to fit that cute little foot in one of them.

FYI- Doctor's appointment went well today. Passed my glucose test (nice to have some good news!) Had to have yet another ultrasound to check my cervix since I've been continuing to have lots of contractions and this foot is just about the only thing (besides his boy parts which he LOVES to show) that Max would show us. We STILL have not seen his cute little face- he keeps those hands up there everytime! Guess we'll be in for a surprise!

Day 150

Recipe for Cookie Pie with Tomato Sauce

by Bailey

Directions:

1. Cut up fruits and vegetables.

2. Get mad and throw your knife across the room, narrowly missing the dog in the process.

3. Put your cookies on the cookie sheet and decorate.

4. Bake the cookies in the oven for a few seconds.

5. Take the pan out and undecorate the cookies. You only wanted the icing anyway!

6. Put icing in mixer and mix on high for a few seconds.

6. Enjoy!

Day 149

The story of my life today! Lauren- this is the closest you're going to get to a real belly-button sighting until you see the actual thing in July!

Some serious hernia pain today. An ice pack was the only thing that would help, however Max wasn't too keen on the idea because he kept trying to kick it off my belly!

Feeling Nostalgic- Day 148

This is one of the very first pictures we have of our little Bailey-bug. And one of my favorites- I hope this is the ONLY man giving her kisses for a long time!!!

So last night, when Daddy and Daughter were taking turns kissing each other on the head, I couldn't resist a snap!
